Carrying out the big black bag of trash every Friday was never a problem. Until now.
Our rescue puppy, Oso, was six pounds when I found him scared and alone by the side of the road. Here he is at about 10 weeks. And here he is about two weeks ago. Today I reckon he weighs in at about 20 pounds, maybe more. (He weighed in at the vet’s yesterday at 17 pounds.) His shits are enormous for a dog his size. And we’re talking two and three shits a day. Or maybe I’m just used to the little shits from my Westie and Miniature Schnauzer.
But my point is this…
I can barely lift the trash bag on Friday. There’s a week’s worth of dog shit in there along with the regular trash. Must weight 40 pounds.
Oso goes for his third vet check-up today so I’ll come back here with an exact weight.
It’s a heavy load I bear.
