The 2021 NFL Draft could see Five Quarterbacks go early. This is a deep Quarterback class.

This 2021 NFL Mock Draft will account for Team Needs. The 2021 NFL Mock Draft Order will be based on my year ending 2021 NFL Season Win-Loss Records for every NFL Team. You can check that article out right here.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

No surprise or suspense here. Lawrence is the top Quarterback prospect to come out since Cam Newton in my opinion. He’s mobile, can throw on the run, has great accuracy and touch can read a defense and is a great leader. He also has all the measurable’s. The Jags have Gardner Minshew, who is young, yes, but he’s not the future.

2. Arizona Cardinals: Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon

The Cardinals seemingly have all the pieces on Offense but are still a couple of years away from being competitive. They still need to continue to improve their Offensive-Line. Sewell is the projected top O-Line Prospect of the 2021 NFL Draft Class.

3. Chicago Bears: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State

Does it matter who wins the Quarterback competition for the Chicago Bears going into the 2020 NFL Season? We all know how this ends. Nick Foles hasn’t played well on any team he’s been on except the Eagles, and Mitch Trubisky, while very talented, has lost his confidence.

Once a young Quarterback loses his confidence, it’s hard to get it back. Plus if you have two Quarterbacks fighting for the Starting job, unless one is a rookie, you have no Quarterback. Justin Fields would seemingly be an immediate upgrade, and some are comparing him to Cam Newton. Those comps are exaggerated. He’s more Daunte Culpepper than Cam.

4. Miami Dolphins: Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU

Miami is in a rebuild, but they have the right coach at the helm to get them through the tough times. Brian Flores will keep this team competitive though their record won’t indicate that. They have their QB of the future and whether or not Tua plays in 2020 or not, he’ll need more weapons on Offense. Ja’Marr Chase is a nasty big, and fast receiver that has all the makings of a number 1 target.

5. Washington: Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State

Alex Smith may play for Washington this season or straight up take Haskins job. You can read more about my thoughts on the QB situation in Washington here. Trey Lance is an extremely athletic and accurate Quarterback that has tons of upside. He’s rocketed up team Draft Boards.

6. Cleveland Browns: Micah Parsons, OLB, Penn State

No doubt in my mind that the Browns will struggle again in 2020. The NFC North is just too good and competitive. Olivier Vernon is a free agent after the 2020 season and the Browns wouldn’t mind getting Myles Garrett a Pass-Rushing mate. Parsons is active in both the run and pass game and, requires a double team. Putting him next to Garrett would be fantastic.

7. New York Jets: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State

On paper, the Jets have one of the worst Corner-Back backfields in the NFL. Shaun Wade would seemingly be a welcome upgrade and help improve the secondary.

8. Los Angeles Chargers: Walker Little, OT, Stanford

Little could’ve been a first-rounder in 2020. He’s personally my favorite Offensive-Tackle Prospect of the 2021 NFL Draft. The Chargers need a true Franchise Left Tackle and I believe Walker has what it takes to fill that role immediately.

9. Las Vegas Raiders: Jamie Newman, QB, Georgia

Derek Carr’s days may be numbered in Las Vegas. He’s not a bad Quarterback. Not at all. But clearly, he does have a ceiling. He may have reached it and, the Raiders haven’t won much with him. He’s put up good to great numbers at times, but ultimately doesn’t or hasn’t won many games. The Raiders may look to move on after the season if this trend continues. Jamie Newman Could see himself be the 3rd Quarterback to go in Round 1.

10. Atlanta Falcons: Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami (FL)

Atlanta has a leaky defense. You get a touchdown. They get a touchdown. Everyone gets a Touchdown versus the Falcons. Part of that problem is their Pass-Rush. Rousseau is being projected as a top 15 pick and the Falcons will look at him or Dylan Moses. Ultimately, I think they’ll go with the higher upside Prospect, Rousseau.

11. Carolina Panthers: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

I don’t think there would be a Quarterback at this point in the Draft that the Carolina Panthers would be interested in. For that reason, they’ll be content with taking one of the top Wide-Receiver prospects. Rondale Moore is one of the most electric playmakers in college Football and, fills a need here for Carolina.

12. Indianapolis Colts: Kyle Trask, QB, Florida

This might be the first surprise of the night. Many casual Sports fans probably have never heard of this prospect. But let me tell you, a lot of Scouts and Publications have him high on their Draft Broads. As do I. It wouldn’t surprise me if he goes in the top 10 of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Colts need a Quarterback of the future whether they bring back Philip Rivers or not after the 2020 season. Trask has great throwing mechanics, a quick release, and is very accurate in the short and intermediate throws.

13. Denver Broncos: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama

Surtain II may just be the best CB prospect in the Draft. So getting him here is great value for the Broncos. Surtain II is a shut-down physical Corner that played in the rough SEC conference, so you know he brings “it” versus top competition. He’d be a welcome addition to the Broncos Secondary.

14. Dallas Cowboys: Creed Humphrey, OC/OG, Oklahoma

The Cowboys need an upgrade at the Center position. Creed Humphrey is a versatile interior O-Lineman that can play any position. The Cowboys would be ecstatic if he was available here.

15. Philadelphia Eagles: Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse

Philly needs secondary help and Cisco has great ball skills and, can catch. He’s a threat to intercept the ball. That’s rare for hard-hitting Safeties.

16. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Leatherwood, OT, Alabama

Pittsburgh is another team that may consider a Quarterback here. However, the value to take one here may not be there. Instead, they’ll look for some help on the Offensive-Line.

17. Miami Dolphins (Via Houston): Carlos Basham Jr., DE, Wake Forest

After going Offense with their First pick, the Dolphins will look to add a young pass rusher. Aside from having an awesome football name, Basham is a gimmick player. He gets to the Quarterback well but has some flaws in other areas of his game. However, strictly as a situational Pass-Rusher, Basham is one of the best in this class.

18. Detroit Lions: Marvin Wilson, DT, FSU

I could see the Lions taking a Quarterback here. The value just isn’t there though to take one. The next best thing would be to upgrade their Defensive-Line and get younger.

19. Green Bay Packers: Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina

This is a pretty deep Corner-Back Draft class. That bodes well for the Packers, who need help at the position. Mukuamu is my type of Corner-Back. He’s above 6 feet tall (6'4 to be exact) and he’s a Physical Corner that can stay with any Receiver. I haven’t released my 2021 NFL Draft Big Board yet, but I’m pretty sure Mukuamu is going to be high on my 2021 NFL Draft Player Rankings.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford

Carlton Davis is going to be a stud for the Bucs in my opinion. But he needs a running mate at the other corner position. Look for the Bucs to consider Adebo and Tyson Campbell here.

21. Jacksonville Jaguars (Via Rams): Devonta Smith, WR, Alabama

The Jaguars need some more weapons on offense and if they’re going to Draft Trevor Lawrence then they need to get him some help at Wide-Receiver.

22. New York Jets (Via Seattle): Tyler Shelvin, DT, LSU

The Jets once again go defense here. I think they’ll look to add more help on the Defensive-Line. Shelvin is a big D-Tackle that swallows up runners in the backfield, is being overlooked, and is a bit underrated. He should go pretty high in the 2021 NFL Draft.

23. New York Giants: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

The New York Giants may surprise people and, have a good 2020 NFL Season. Particularly or primarily because of the promise Daniel Jones showed last year in his Rookie Season. Still, the Offense needs another young Receiver. I like Golden Tate, but he’s no spring chicken.

Sterling Shepard is good but injury-prone, and Darius Slayton has a nice connection With Jones, but he needs a more consistent reliable Receiver next to him. That’s where Bateman comes in. Bateman is a speedy receiver that can break off for huge gains at any moment and is good at Yards after Catch on short dump-offs.

24. New Orleans Saints: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia

Campbell has had his issues with injuries during the first two years of his Georgia Career. But he’s a freak athlete at the Corner-Back position, is very tall, has great hands for a Corner, and has tons of upside. The guy seemingly has it all to be a Top Prospect. Now the Production just needs to match. The Saints could use a Young Corner to build with their young stud in Marshon Lattimore.

25. Kansas City Chiefs: Dylan Moses, DE, Alabama

Adding another Pass-Rusher could be at the top of the Chiefs' priority list. Aside from Frank Clark, they don’t have a consistent End that can put pressure on opposing Quarterbacks.

26. Tennessee Titans: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

Pitts is an elusive and fast pass-catching Tight-End. That’s where most of his value lies. He’s not a great blocker. Think Evan Engram. He adds another dimension and weapon to the Titans passing game.

27. Cincinnati Bengals: Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan

I believe Cincy is going to be a good team next year. They are mediocre at the Offensive-Line positions and could stand to upgrade the position early in the 2021 NFL Draft.

28. Minnesota Vikings: Xavier Thomas, DE, Clemson

This guy has no mercy on opposing Quarterbacks and is the quintessential Clemson Pass-Rusher. He has an explosive first step off the Edge and is being severely overlooked. That bodes well for a team like Minnesota who is picking late in the first round of this 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

29. Baltimore Ravens: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon

Earl Thomas needs a legit running mate at the other Safety spot. Holland is the perfect fit. He falls a bit in this Mock Draft, but he could easily go in the top 15.

30. San Francisco 49ers: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech

You could never have too many Corners and Farley is a versatile Secondary player that can switch to Safety if he had to. Farley would be a good value here for the 49ers.

31. New England Patriots: Jaylen Twyman, DT, Pittsburgh

Twyman is a nasty Defensive Lineman who can get after the Quarterback. He’s a three-down Lineman and someone that can be an anchor on Defense. The Pats need that.

32. Buffalo Bills: Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

Continuing to build the Offensive-Line for Josh Allen will benefit this team. Especially since he’s a quarterback that can make things happen even with a shaky line. But having, and continuing to build up the O-Line for him will open things up for this passing game.

There you have it! The 2020 NFL Mock Draft 1.0. I’ll continue to update this Mock as more info comes out on these Prospects so stay tuned. If you liked this post please share it on your social media and also be sure to check out some more of my content here:
