Smart Data Ecosystem by Genaro Network

Currently, I am a going into my Senior Year at Azusa Pacific University looking to graduate with degrees in both Business Marketing & Accounting [Hopefully CPA by end of 2020]. Through my University I had the opportunity to attend a Study Abroad/Internship program in China. With ethnic ties to China [I am 1/8 Chinese] I embraced the opportunity to explore and dive into the culture and business of China. The program is funded by the Freeman Foundation & ran diligently by Dr. Stuart & Mrs. Barbara Strother, both professors at Azusa Pacific & yearly visitors to China. Students of the program are responsible for securing their own internships in Mainland China. While some may deem this impossible without secure connections, it is a great opportunity for students to network & assiduously seek out internships in business fields of interest in an unfamiliar international business setting.

The internship I eventually ended seeking out was at Genaro Network. I had a few other offers doing Marketing for a couple start-ups, a manufacturing company & a therapeutics and performance enhancement company. However, I chose to enter the emerging world of blockchain tech & join the team at Genaro Network. For a little over a year now, I have been interested in the potential & decentralization that blockchain tech provides, so being able to join the efforts at Genaro was a must. The aims of the project at Genaro & the opportunity they gave me to do SM Marketing, Editorial Assignments, and US Business Development attracted me.

Genaro is currently building its first DAPP (Decentralized Application) on top of the Genaro Network, called Genaro Eden. Eden looks to provide developers a one-stop development platform, which can establish smart contracts and store large amounts of data. Genaro also intends to provide everyone with a place to securely store data on their public blockchain.

While doing initial research back in the states, I was attracted to their mission, because of how secure data is within the Genaro Eden platform. While many people today use Cloud storage (Apple iCloud), this is not fully secure. Cloud data is stored on servers, hosted in air-conditioned building facilities. Also, the people controlling those data centers have access to your data, making it an issue of trust that data will not be breached. Using Genaro Eden, however, both encrypts and separates data into pieces that are randomly distributed to nodes managed by the Genaro public blockchain, where no one can read or rewrite your personal data without your complex private key, which only YOU have access to.

The potential of secure data storage on a public blockchain, which decentralizes and eliminates the middleman of the data industry is attractive to me as I look to enter the business world. While the storage network is aimed at developers trying to build applications on the blockchain, everyday individuals & businesses can benefit from platforms such as Genaro Eden. Why? Because it is a safe place to store private information, special memories & even save space on your hard drive. The economy based around Data Storage is truly attractive to me as an individual & as someone who hopes to open my own business in the future. Security of YOUR data is something everyone needs to be concerned about.

The vision and aim of Genaro Network to provide the world with a place to keep data safe is truly attractive. The efforts & passion for this project can be seen by Genaro attending, hosting and speaking at events that are catered to the blockchain industry. Many of Genaro’s team members have met with blockchain enthusiasts and influencers & attended events in places such as, Ireland, Russia, Finland, Vietnam & the United States. I believe Genaro Network is here to create a global economy that looks to support everyone through their public blockchain.

While Eden is at the forefront of the development process, Genaro has also incubated many other DAPP’s for future development. They plan on creating the ‘Genaro Hub’ which will aim at supporting the development of DAPPs on the Genaro Network. They also plan on creating a co-working space that will internally utilize the GNX token to create a token-based economy. Read more about how they plant to develop the Genaro Network HERE.
