Canada Health Infoway Looks to Accelerate Health Care System Transformation with New Agency Partnership

Cossette Health to help drive access to care in Canada

TORONTO, August 29, 2018 — Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) announced today that Cossette Health has been selected as the marketing communications agency of record, following a competitive RFP process. The agency has been tasked to develop and execute a multi-year marketing communications strategy to help drive access to care through digital health in Canada.

“Building on the successful launch of PrescribeIT™, Canada’s national e-prescribing service, Infoway’s new ACCESS Health initiative will provide Canadians and their providers with improved access to personal health information and digital health services,” said Shelagh Maloney, Executive Vice President, Canada Health Infoway. “Infoway’s shift from being a strategic investor to being a service provider presents an interesting communications and marketing challenge. Cossette Health has demonstrated a deep understanding of this challenge and a winning approach to solving it.”

The agency will focus on promoting Infoway’s new ACCESS Health program as well as creating a public campaign to engage clinicians and Canadians in meaningful conversations around digital health and health care.

Work will begin in the summer of 2018 and will involve research, branding and strategic development ahead of a multi-channel market outreach program. Cossette Health will lead the program strategy, creative and solutions’ development and execution, with communications support provided by Citizen Relations and other Vision7 International agency partners.
