gener8tor is launching the first Indiana gALPHA program. This new program is focused specifically on 5G technology and will feature support from the Indiana IoT Lab as well as many leaders in the 5G field.

gALPHA’s hybrid hackathon/accelerator format is designed to help would-be entrepreneurs identify promising business models and design minimum viable products (MVPs) or MVP roadmaps capable of being built without access to financing. This gALPHA 5G program will run in the month of May with the goal of bringing in as many participants as possible, knowing that only a few will graduate into running their own startup.

gener8tor believes that the gALPHA participants will offer the workforce a better sense of their own technological capabilities and the ability to drive “intrapreneurship” throughout their career because of the gALPHA experience regardless of if they choose to continue running their start-up idea after the program is completed.

gALPHA programming will consist of bi-weekly meetings May 4–28. It will also include social events designed around technologists, gener8tor alumni, investors and other thought-leaders to drive interest in the gALPHA programming.

Geoff Zentz, who runs the gBETA programs in Indy, will also run the gALPHA 5G program. Any interest or questions regarding the gALPHA 5G program, can contact Geoff at geoff@gener8tor.com
