On the podcast I mentioned The Clash was on a City TV program, an independent TV station until it was bought by a media conglomorate in the 1990’s. That station had a show called The New Music that ran from 1979 to 2008, but the shows in the mid to late 80’s exposed me to all sorts of new wave acts and then gave me live footage of Black Flag. The clip I referenced is below:
