Tell us a little about yourself.

I am originally from Devon and went to school in Tiverton. I finished school, went to Uni at Oxford Brookes and studied Japanese studies for four years with a year spent studying at a university in Japan. After graduating in 2012 I moved to Japan and taught English in Fukuoka for a few years. I came back to the UK where I worked in London before going to the University of Exeter last year to do a post grad in marketing, which I have just finished. After being away for so long, I was reminded how much I enjoy living in Devon and decided that I wanted to work as a marketer in Exeter.

How long have you been with us here at The Generator?

I am currently on my first month at The Generator.

Tell us a bit about what do you do?

I am marketing executive for it’seeze Websites Exeter, working with Simon and Jeanne Wilkins. At the moment I am managing our social media channels and am starting to get involved with SEO optimisation and copywriting for clients. If you want to see what I’m up to, follow us on Facebook: @itseeze.exeter and Twitter: @itseeze

Why did you join The Generator?

I was fortunate enough to find an outstanding marketing agency that is based in the Generator.

What would you say your favourite part of The Generator is?

There are lots of things I would say I like: location — being on the Quay is awesome, a nice big open office, the fact that there is plenty of space for bicycles downstairs… but probably the best thing about the generator is the people — everyone is friendly, professional and clearly very knowledgable about their specialist areas and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone more as time goes on.

If you were the last person on Earth, what would you do?

I’d probably end up walking the length of the country visiting every pub along the way to try all the local ales from all around.
