Hello, Genesis Vision community!

The first month of 2018 is coming to an end. The time is therefore right for taking stock of the advances achieved and the tasks remaining. We’ve also had a lot of great questions from the Community during the past few weeks and want to make sure we get round to answering these, first of all.

Let’s begin with your questions.

What have you been doing this month?

We have been done the few essential things for this month:

• we have formed the team, and we have almost all necessary positions for the platform’s development and release;
• we visited the largest financial B2B expo in Asia — iFX EXPO (report from Hong Kong will be published soon);
• a very big part of work on the development of the platform has been done;
• we have started our negotiations with several large brokers. These talks were focused on the cooperation with the platform at an early stage.

Additionally, we are working with a closed repositories, which can not be opened due to licensing restrictions. We use some libraries, which license does not allow the publication of even their API.

Genesis Vision has a new competitor! Will all be lost?

Money management sphere has existed for many centuries (if not millennia). There has always been a lot of companies providing services in this area. Projects continue to appear, and you will witness the establishment of many more companies somehow connected with trust management.

From our past experience within the Team its our thoughts that competition always drives further advancement and promotion of the overall industry as it changes through these technological advancements thus all competition will always be seen as a positive for the Project.

That doesn’t frighten us at all. Quite the contrary — it is our damn pleases! The trust management market is growing rapidly every year, and we know the potential volume of this market, so we feel that there are enough places for everyone who could offer something interesting to the market participants. It’s better to compete with long-standing market players rather than with new projects.

Also, our competitor’s successes will increase confidence in the industry as a whole, thereby would lead the flow of new investors. So, the conscientious competitors bear only for pluses!

But what really worries us is the fraudsters. If it turns out that one of the companies in our sphere is a scam, it will leave a deep imprint on the whole industry and, will in particular affect us.

Anyway, we proudly wish the best of luck to all respectable competitors, and we hope that among them there will be no scammers.

Where is your marketing? I have not seen any of your banner during the whole month!

It may sound strange, but our marketing is working not less than our developers. The marketing department is focused on drawing up a strategy for the platform promoting after its release, not on the current PR. They’ve got a lot of work to do. We have two primary directions that should be equally effective: B2B and B2C.

For B2B direction, we need to hold negotiations with dozens of potential partners from the classical and crypto-world, we have to prepare for significant exhibitions and conference, and present our project to a financial companies representatives from all around the world. Fortunately, Alexey has ten years experience in the b2b sales world and a lot of partners. That greatly simplifies the task.

With B2C; it’s not that simple. We need to attract two client categories: the managers and the investors. So we have some particular tasks, these tasks require very meticulous preparation.

The better we prepare for now — it will be easier to promote our platform after the release.

When is the tournament?

The tournament will start February 15. Registration will be open February 5. Detailed conditions will be published as soon as everything is prepared.
