Genesis Vision Social Beta

Hello Visioners!

At the end of last year, we announced the GV 2.0 release. Our main objective was to turn Genesis Vision into a fully fledged social trading platform.

The Genesis Vision platform has been constantly evolving and developing since its first launch, and in GV 2.0 many changes were made and new essential social trading products were added.

Building a platform with the opportunity for an open dialogue between all our users — traders, investors, managers require even greater Social functionality. In the past few months, we’ve been working diligently on this.

Today we are pleased to release the open beta for “Social” — a free communication zone for all the Visioners. Anyone is welcome to check it out!

“Social” includes several key features:

• create your own blogs and follow others
• share trading strategies and participate in the discussion of assets
• stay tuned with the media feed
• follow trends

Page “Social”

“Social” has been added to the main menu, along with the “Dashboard”, “Trade” and “Invest” sections.

The main page has five sections. The central section is a blog post feed. There you can post and comment on whatever you want from profitable strategies to funny pictures. The “Feed” tab only shows posts from blogs you’re following, “Hot” shows the most popular content for the last days, and “Live” displays all the posts.

On the left side of the page, there are the “Top strategies” and “Trending assets” sections.

“Top strategies” refers to the current leading investment instruments (Follow, Funds, Programs). Profit is calculated over the past week.

“Trending assets” are the most discussed assets. By clicking on them, posts with this asset tagged appear.

“Hot topics” display’s the most popular hashtags.

Page “Users”

In this section, you can see all the users, find your friends, and follow other users. There are columns with the followers of the account, its age, amount of assets under management and number of investors.

Page “My profile”

Every user has access to the “wall”, where any ideas and thoughts can be shared.

Managers can publish information for the investors

Traders can publicly disclose their trading ideas

“My profile” contains up to three sections “Feed”, “Trading” and “Investing”.

In the “Feed” users can make posts, comment, share, and like them. There is also the ability to add tags of assets, users, and coins in the posts and comments. After posting, tags transform into icons which are clickable. As for the posts, with the help of the @ symbol, you can attach programs, funds, and users. All the programs and funds are automatically displayed as “events” in the “Feed” section. If desired, posts and comments can be deleted.

“Trading” is available for users with public trading accounts. It shows the list of your public trading accounts, programs, and funds.

“Investing” becomes available when you open your investment profile, showing your public portfolio.

Page “Media”

This page brings together content from social media. By clicking on the post, the original publication is shown. Here you can follow the news from the industry and stay informed.

Social privacy settings

To set up your privacy settings navigate to Settings -> Profile details

Public investor’s profile toggles the visibility of your investment portfolio and enables/disables the “Investing” tab in your social profile.

To make your social journey on our platform even more comfortable, here you can also define who can create posts on your Wall, create and view comments

Please note that at the current stage social functionality is released in Beta testing mode. For now it’s available in web version only.

Future updates

GV Funds improvements:

GV Funds is quite a simple product on the Genesis Vision platform, which makes it so popular among our users. We continue to work towards improving the functionality of GV Funds.

Our next major step in this direction is adding stock market instruments in the upcoming updates.

Genesis Vision Trading Terminal:

Although we have built our own fully fledged brokerage infrastructure, the Genesis Vision team continues to work closely with brokers and exchanges. In cooperation with Binance on the joint brokerage program, Genesis Vision users can take advantage of instruments like futures, while still using products from the Genesis Vision ecosystem. This is exactly why we have developed our own GV Trading Terminal.

GV Trading Terminal will be accessible for our users in the foreseeable future. Keep an eye out for future Genesis Vision updates so you don’t miss anything regarding our improvements.
