We are pleased to announce that liquidity has been added to Pancakeswap for the GVT/BUSD pairing. You can now effortlessly swap your GVT, to and from BUSD directly from your MetaMask wallet!

Connecting MetaMask to Binance Smart Chain

If you already have a MetaMask and have Binance Smart Chain as a network, feel free to skip this part.

If you dot have have BSC connected then firstly, click ‘Ethereum Mainnet’ and then click ‘Custom RPC’ on your wallet to add the BSC network to MetaMask.

Fill out the required fields with the information below and press ‘Save’.

Your MetaMask wallet is now connected to Binance Smart Chain Network.

How to trade GVT on PancakeSwap with MetaMask

Now that we have provided your latest pair and liquidity, you can now buy and sell GVT BEP20 tokens on PancakeSwap! It is important that you have Binance Smart Chain Set as your network on your Metamask, and that you also have BNB in your wallet which will be used for gas fees.

To trade on PancakeSwap, first click the ”Exchange” page under the ‘Trade’ tab.

pancakeswap.finance

You will then be taken to the main terminal, where you can begin executing swaps.

The liquidity we have added at the moment is for the GVT/BUSD pair.

  • You will need to select BUSD as one of the pairs.
  • You will then need to manually add GVT by adding the GVT BEP20 Contract address on BSC. You can easily do this by clicking ‘Select a currency’ and pasting the official address into the token search:

GVT Contract address on BSC: 0xf25868b9e9c62f12192650ac668a2aa69f965f44

You do not need to complete this process every time you use Pancakeswap.

Important: Make you use the contract address above and no other. Using a different contract address means you are swapping a different token.

As you have chosen BUSD as the other currency. You will need to approve the tokens you want to swap which will allow the smart contract to spend your token.

MetaMask Notification

Click the ‘Confirm’ button and confirm the transaction on your MetaMask wallet. Remember, you will need BNB in your wallet to cover the costs to approve this transaction and further swaps. Once you have approved GVT and BUSD as pairs you would like to trade, you do not need to repeat this process before every swap.

In our example we are using BUSD to swap to GVT. The process will work exactly the same when swapping GVT to BUSD.

After approving the the pairs, you need to go head click the ‘Swap’ button and confirm the transaction on your MetaMask wallet.

Executing GVT/BUSD Swap

You will then receive a Pancake swap receipt and also a MetaMask notification once that swap has been completed.

Swap complete!

The trade has been completed and you will now be able to see your GVT BEP20 tokens in your MetaMask wallet!

If you do not see them in your MetaMask wallet, you will need to click on ‘Import Token’ and paste in the GVT contract address: 0xf25868b9e9c62f12192650ac668a2aa69f965f44.

Once added, you do not need to repeat the process every time you open your wallet.

That is all we have instore for today! We will be adding more trading pairs and liquidity across Pancakeswap, Uniswap and KyberSwap, so keep an eye out for those too!

As always, thank you for being a part of our journey and we will keep you posted on where we are headed next!
