Twins, but not identical.
From their genesis, so alike.
Two virgin, shapely torches,
sparking fire, birthing light.

Poems hum their own melody,
while music nods and flirts
with sweet, amorphous voices
that sometimes mate with words.

Life without poetry is grim.
Without music our souls would gasp.
We must never ignore the gifts of the twins,
lest they wither like leaves in the grass.
