Urban green patterns refer to the spatial arrangement of vegetation in urban areas. The type of urban green pattern can have a significant impact on the overall health and livability of a city.

We continue to research urban green patterns around the world. You can find our previous posts on the topic here: European, Australian and New Zealand, Central Asian.

Twenty-seven urban green patterns were generated using Mapbox satellite basemap and Mapflow AI-Mapping Platform. The tree cover for the main Latin American cities from Mexico to Santiago reflects a unique mix of human-nature interaction.

With the Mapflow Forest ML model you can perform similar research on your AOI using the Mapflow QGIS plugin or Mapflow Web.
