As our previous article mentioned how Geblocks was created, we invite you to read a series about our founder Charles Heather and how his experience combined with John Griffin’s business acumen is going to help create a new, unique asset class.
Charles Heather was born and raised in Zimbabwe where he developed a passion for nature and the environment from a very young age. Fascinated by geology and flight, it comes as no surprise that he should end up working both in Aviation and Minerals Exploration.
Having experienced a great deal of success in both areas Charlie eventually found himself gravitating towards Latin America including in particular, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela.
Charlie and John Griffin developed a close friendship through Charlie’s brothers entertainment business aptly named the Heather Brothers, through their work in the West End writing and producing musicals. John and Charlie embarked on several adventures together finding themselves in the deepest darkest jungle regions looking for various precious metals and gemstones. It was on just such an adventure that they both met Luciano Bourges and became great friends.
