Building the New Web & CoinFund RabbitHole Talks with GEO Protocol
The big event journey is over and our team members are back. So, we can’t help but share with you our impressions of these great events that in many ways surpassed our high expectations. Last week we visited Paris Blockchain Week 2019 (including GEO Protocol presentation at Building the New Web. Paris edition and Paris Blockchain Summit), as well as the monthly CoinFund RabbitHole Talks to showcase and present GEO Protocol in New York.
Building the New Web
During the Paris Blockchain Week 2019, we were glad to join technical keynotes from CTOs or tech leads from a number of projects such as Algorand Solana, Chromapolis, Qtum, and Ledger.
Dima Chizhevsky, Chief Architect of GEO Protocol, talked about the Layer 3 idea, its preconditions and issues.

Paris Blockchain Summit
Of course, we couldn’t miss the discussion about decentralized exchanges, security tokens, scalability issues, recent advances in consensus mechanisms and many more during Paris Blockchain Week. That’s why Dima Chizhevsky took part in the “Quantum Computing: the crypto killer?” panel discussion at the Master Stage of Paris Blockchain Summit, which was moderated by Jean-David Benichou from ViaDialog.
Among other things, Dima talked about the advantages of quantum computing and the real threats it presents to Distributed Ledger Technology, as well as other problems.
Overall, we are grateful for all the hosts, participants and visitors! We really appreciate the international scale of this event, the number of outstanding speakers and the level of services.
CoinFund Rabbithole Talks
Another presentation for our project happened this week in New York. Lena Kuznetsova of the GEO Protocol team presented the topic “The Need For Layer 3 solutions on the Internet of Value”. It underlined the problems of current protocol solutions and how Layer 3 technologies (like GEO Protocol) can solve these issues.

Yes, it was an intensive week for our team. Now we are back to work as well as finalizing preparations for the next huge event that will come in May. Stay tuned!
