Australia sends troops and police to Solomon Islands amid unrest

Australia is sending police, troops and diplomats to the Solomon Islands to help after anti-government demonstrators took to the streets for a second day in a row. They had requested help from Australia. The Australian government has no intention of intervening in the internal affairs of the Solomon Islands. They believe that there was no position on the internal issues of the Solomon Islands.

Hundreds Still Detained in Sudan

They took the members of the Resistance Committees of Abu Hajjar to an unknown location on Tuesday. Four members of the resistance committees went into custody on Monday. They beat one member of the Resistance Committees, which led to serious injuries. The nightly and propaganda parades of the resistance committees and their preparations for the November 25 Marches of the Millions continue. Other activists denounced the military coup.

Iran claims Isfahan protests end as riot police surge into city

According to a resident, the situation was calm, and the streets were empty. Farmers and other people have been protesting against the lack of water at the riverbed. Some people set fire to objects in the city. The journalist said two bulldozers were used to destroy the pipe. Farmers and local authorities struck a deal about water distribution.

Rally in Belgrade demands end to alarming air pollution

Thousands of people rallied in Belgrade on Sunday to demand an end to Serbia’s alarming levels of air pollution. Lebanese protesters block roads over economic meltdown

Protesters burned tires and blocked roads across Lebanon on Monday in protest at the country’s economic downturn. Over three quarters of the population in Lebanon have become poor because of the country’s economic crisis. The pound of Lebanon sank to a new low.
