A river runs through it, and gives a great office view

Creating an entrepreneurial hub, or a Startup Metropole, means taking on many facets. One thing is to shape a culture in which entrepreneurship is recognised as a respectable career choice. But that also means giving people the opportunity to test whether they are entrepreneurs. One way to do that, is to put people together and let them build a company based on the ideas they bring in, in one weekend. There are several formats for doing so, and in Düsseldorf it will be the Startup Sprint.

How that works, and what the value is of such events for the ecosystem, but also what has changed in Düsseldorf in the last years, is exactly what Ingo Stefes can shed light on. From his office with wonderful view of the Rhine, he shares his thoughts in this episode of the StartInDUS podcast.

As the founder of StartInDUS, Arjan Tupan is the Story Teller of Startup Metropole Düsseldorf. He’s also in the board of StartupDorf. He is a nomadic european, lover of stories, poet and also a dad. Talk to him on Twitter.
