Cherokee County Protest: My Quick Thoughts

This is a live Facebook video posted by Matt Johnson from WSB-TV news.

This is a protest following the incident at River Ridge High School between a teacher and her students. You can see the video below:

Quick Thoughts Concerning the Protest:

If these individuals were really concerned with a violation of freedom of speech, their signs would read “Let Them Speak” or “1st Amendment Right”. This is about assembling the Trump cult and attacking someone these individuals probably don’t even know and as the young man said: “have some fun”.

I love the man who comes on at 9:25. — -

”The suppression of free speech is a fascist tactic… they never want to argue on fact”. While I respect his service to this country, he then goes on to say that the NFL players only have “free speech when they’re on their own, not at work. It’s what you’re getting paid to do, play football…if you want to bring politics into it, I’m no longer on board”

1. The first amendment simplified: “The First Amendment to the United States Constitution is a part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly, freedom of the press, and right to petition”. Can someone find where this only applies if you’re not at work?

2. Yes, NFL players are paid to play football…I must have missed the game where the players did not play football following their silent kneeling.

3. Yeah, why would you bring politics into sports? I don’t know, maybe because YOUR PRESIDENT called those players S.O.B’s?

P.S. Look at all these people disrespecting our American Flag by wearing it on their clothing and plastering it on their signs.
