Am I Crazy?

I catch a glimpse of
daybreak in the mirror,
Screaming at myself
to get my life together.
How can I provide for
another when I can’t
for myself,
I just want a love that
isn’t attained through
wealth.

Is it insane to hope
for life's basics?
Do I need a reality
check or have I already
faced it?
No one ever seems to
answer my simple
questions,
They just pile on critiques
that leave me more
restless.
