Welcome! Thank you for checking out Get Inside, a publication dedicated to the first-person accounts of, well, anyone.
Who We Are
Get Inside originated because we couldn’t find a Medium publication solely dedicated to sharing insider accounts of those with a story from their daily existence simply bursting from within.
We wanted a place to share our own daily interactions and reflections, and to open the door for others to do the same.
What (and How) We Publish
Get Inside is interested in any sort of first person account; this may take the form of a creative nonfiction piece, a poem, or even a detailed fictional tale based in one’s own life and experiences. As long as it’s written in first person, it has a home in Get Inside (along with a few necessary requirements listed below).
Everyone has a story to tell (or, if you’re like us, you have stories to share). What lights your fire, makes you seethe with rage, or inevitably brings a tear to an otherwise dry eye? We want passion, pain, laughter, struggle — if it’s rife with emotion and tells a personal story, send it our way.
