The Updated GET Protocol Liquidity Mining Program

Update — The GET Protocol Liquidity Mining Program has been extended for Q4 2021!

What is going to happen?

It’s safe to say that GET Protocol is the leading ticketing project in the blockchain and NFT space. With over 700,000 tickets processed through the protocol for real events with non crypto savvy attendees, eyes are now set on the world stage. The scalability and robustness of the protocol matched by years of battle testing, ensures that the protocol is ready for mass integration by ticketing behemoths and new ticketing companies alike.

At the heart of the protocol is its utility token: GET. This token operates as the fuel for all of the ticketing activity that takes place. Think of it as a credit in an arcade machine, or gas for your car.

Thanks to GET, making use of the protocol is extremely straightforward. It allows ticketing companies operating on a global scale to make use of the latest ticketing technology, completely independently and on their own terms.

An Update To Our Liquidity Mining Program

Our liquidity mining program has helped incentivize liquidity providers on Uniswap since the latter half of last year. With bolstered liquidity, comes easier possibilities to acquire GET using Uniswap.

With this said, coupled with our recent announcement of our NFT Ticketing heading to Polygon, it’s now time to give Polygon users an easy alternative to acquire GET. Quickswap is Polygon’s version of Uniswap, providing a cheap and decentralised method of acquiring GET on Polygon.

This means that along with periodically rewarding Liquidity Providers of the GET-ETH pair on Uniswap V2, we will also be providing incentives for the WETH — GET pair on QuickSwap.

Each month there’s 24,000 GET available to incentivize liquidity. We will be allocating ⅓ of the total (8000 GET) to the GET — WETH QuickSwap pool. Links for GET on QuickSwap:

The remaining ⅔ (16,000 GET) will continue to provide incentive for providers of liquidity on Uniswap.

The program will be running throughout Q4 2021, with another update to follow at the end of the year.

How to take part

So, once more for the people in the back; here’s how to take part.

Step 1. Provide liquidity to the GET-ETH pool on Uniswap V2 or GET-WETH pool on QuickSwap.

Step 2. GET Protocol distributes GET to the Uniswap V2 pool and QuickSwap pool liquidity providers at random intervals during each month.

Important: If you are not experienced with Uniswap, QuickSwap or providing liquidity, we’d like to remind you that you are in no way obliged to do so. If this concept is new to you and you would like to learn more about how this works, this blog is a good place to start. As with all things crypto, be sure to completely understand what you are doing before you start, as it is not without risks.

Why this program?

Besides attracting additional attention to the project, the addition of liquidity is of crucial importance for the protocol to function, particularly as the protocol scales and GET is needed to fuel tickets on a global level.

The protocol requires an on-chain price oracle on the Polygon network for smart contract pricing — something which is sustainably achieved by having a liquid QuickSwap pool as well as the Uniswap pool, which has been around for a while at the time of writing.

Besides this humble plan of taking over the world, there are tons of other exciting things in the works, such as giving artists the opportunity to raise capital using the decentralized pre-financing of future ticket sales. Of course we’ll also further roll-out of our NFT ticketing features, for which our plans include the addition of a digital collectible element and the application of programmable revenue sharing on the secondary market.

Stay tuned for everything to come!
