The San Diego Zoo is one of the best zoos in the U.S. It has about 4,000 animals representing more than 800 species from cute red pandas to giant elephants to Arctic polar bears.

Because of the temporary closure, the zoo invites you to stay connected with animals from home by enjoying 12 animal live cams that reveal the daily life of each animal.

The site of Zoos Victoria has a delightful page called “Animals at Home,” which makes you feel like you’re at the real zoo. “Animals at Home” features a live stream of animals, including feeding times and Keeper Talks which broadcasts live every week and is a great way to learn more about animals.

You can find several adorable movie clips of each animal on Shedd Aquarium’s Twitter. This includes the video that recently went viral about adventurous penguins exploring the Shedd Aquarium and greeting other aquatic friends.

Monterey Bay Aquarium — California, USA

This nonprofit public aquarium is home to more than 35,000 creatures representing 650 species of fish, reptiles, mammals, birds, and plants.

Currently, the site of the aquarium has 10 attractive live cams you can watch such as cute sea otters, beautiful moon jellies, and colorful coral reefs. Additionally, you can learn more about the animals’ habitats from the rocky shore to the deep sea as well!

A virtual zoo and aquarium tour is an absolute must-do activity to brighten your day and boost your mental state with adorable animals. And if when planning your next trip post COVID-19, don’t forget to add zoos and aquariums to your travel plan so you can connect with them in real life. We’re sure they can’t wait to see you!
