For the last couple of years, we have been building Willow, a set of online tools designed to help therapists, counsellors and coaches manage and promote their business. Willow’s features include diary management, client communication tools, online business promotion features (including marketing trackers and a website builder), cloud file storage and editable document and form customisation. All great features, but not the reason we started creating Willow in the first place back in 2015. So, what was the goal that sparked nearly two years of late nights and lost weekends?

Well, the answer to that is simple, client safety.

We have all read horror stories in the press of paper-based patient notes and confidential information being left in public places, such as buses or trains, or simply being dropped in the street. As therapists, clients confide in us some of their most painful memories and personal issues; it is our duty to keep such knowledge with the strictest of confidence. With this is mind we developed Willow, using the same technologies and levels of security and encryption used by major online banks and credit cards, to give clients the tools they need to fulfill their duty of client safety and confidentiality.

From this beginning we have grown Willow to include many features to help therapists, coaches and counsellors build and manage their businesses online, but always with client safety, confidentiality and safeguarding at our core.
