This little cafe nested at the center of Clissold Park is certainly your first choice on a sunny day. This place is a good stop after shopping on Church Street. First the ramp at the entrance makes it easy to get into with your buggy (or skateboard), secondly there is a large baby change facility. Green Room on Church Street
The Green Room has been around for quite a long time in Stokey and it’s almost an institution. The entrance is a little bit small (it’s hidden behind a flower shop) but the garden is accessible through a ramp which makes it a good fit for new mums and dads. There is plenty of space in the garden for your kids to play around and the cakes are very tasty (more).
La Duchesse on Church Street
This little cafe doesn’t look like much from outside but it is quite spacious and offer highchairs and changing facilities. The highlight of the place is their huge selection of delicious cakes. Definitely try the lemon meringue tart! (more)
Gelateria Romeo and Giulietta on Albion Parade
This new ice cream place just opened this summer. You can’t really sit there, but kids are loving it. The ice creams are prepared every day from fresh fruits and completely natural ingredients. A real Italian Gelateria! Have a liquorice scoop for the kids and a rum and raisin one for you (more)
Lizzy’s on the Green in Newington Green
Nested in the middle of the Newington Green roundabout right next to the playground, Lizzy’s is the place to be when you want to let your kids have fun while you are enjoying a delicious cappuccino sitting on the terrasse. T&Shop on Green Lanes
This tiny shop + cafe prepares excellent quick lunches, has an amazing selection of tea, locally roasted coffee and homemade cakes. In the store you’ll find all sorts of items from designer chairs to small gifts for children. A perfect combination when you’re looking to make a break on your way to Clissold Park (more).

Cafe Z is a well known place for kids in Stokey. With plenty of space to play as well as lots of toys, you can easily relax knowing that your kids will be busy. They serve a very good coffee and have a selection of cakes and brunches to keep you and your little ones full. Little Highness Play Cafe on Blackstock Road
