Aegis today announced that it’s launching beta access to an all new home automation web application. The service will provide customers access to their connected devices directly over the internet by utilizing cutting-edge cloud technologies. Aegis allows users to view and control smart home devices from anywhere with an internet connection. By using real time data streaming the app provides an up to date status of your devices through smart hub providers such as Wink. This is all done in a simple easy to use interface showing all your devices at a glance.

“This service is unprecedented” said Josh Sroufe, Aegis Founder. “It’s a real game changer”

Aegis provides users the ability to set security modes by syncing state across multiple devices. After authentication to a third party device service such as Wink hub, Aegis displays device battery life, connectivity, and status. Aegis works with motion sensors, cameras, doorbells, thermostats, light bulbs, power outlets and plans to support hundreds of more devices.

“Controlling your home has never been easier” said Nikko Ambroselli, Aegis Founder. “Connecting to smart hubs grants Aegis users the flexibility they have come to expect. We are expanding the service to additional hubs such as smart things next.”
