FIT TO FAB: A JEWEL TO ALL WOMEN.

Our body is the only permanent place to reside. Who all don’t want to be in good shape especially when it costs us to look good. I had always witnessed a massive misunderstanding between being “fat” and “skinny”. People forget the important motive of being healthy and dwell around with the misconception of “skinny is a new style.” I being an avid fitness freak and an influencer totally disagree with it and want to let all you ladies know that- “being healthy is what matters the most.’’

“Being fit and fab” is complemented by “being healthy.” So how do we all beautiful ladies get fit and fab and maintain that all our life without the worry of weighing scale rising or not?

For all you ladies reading this, I share with you the simplest ways of being fit and fab. Always focus for a healthy and a disease-free body. Forget what the weighing scale says. It’s not always the right indicator. The goal should be to maintain a right balance of body composition (fat and muscles).

Always remember to give yourself ‘a devoted time’ followed by a little push of your ‘willpower.’

  • For a kickstart, morning drink at least two glasses of warm water with lemon or apple cider vinegar.
  • Have each meal with the right balance of protein, carbs, fat, and fibre. Remember fibre helps to reduce weight.
  • Consume less salt.
  • Try having homemade food most of the time.
  • Drink up to 5 litres of water daily.
  • Reduce tea, coffee and anything sugary as much as possible
  • Eat very early dinner.
  • Sleep daily for at least 7 hours.
  • Last but not the least — Please Exercise regularly for at least 30 mins without fail. Both Outdoor and Indoor exercises will show results. Do whatever suits you. Cycling, Squats, Surya Namaskars, full or knee Push-ups, basic ab crunches, leg raises covers up a beginner to an intermediate level of Exercise routine and of course, brings fruitful results.

Fat gain is largely due to skipping of breakfast and meals which slows down body’s metabolism and body starts accumulating fat. Eating at regulatory patterns is very important. One must always remember to eat after every two to three hours.

Talking so much about fit and fab let us witness my one of the many favourite people who transformed for fat to fab.

Sushmita Sen- Remembering her makes me picture two things 1. Her million dollar smile 2. her stunning body shape. She is an inspiration to me and I follow her so much on her social media handles.

I read about her slip disc injury at the age of 31, Sen found herself piling on kilos as a result of her limited workouts. She has come a long way after recuperating from her severe back injury. In a recent interview Sen mentioned how she was body shamed in front of the media for being overweight.

Her success story is right in front of our eyes — today, you’ll find her acing many different forms of exercise. Suspension training, gymnastics, aerial silk yoga, Pilates etc.

“A broken back doesn’t mean a broken spirit. All my life I have been told there are ‘things’ I can’t do or shouldn’t do, but somehow ‘do’ is all I could hear!” she revealed in an Instagram post.
