Haven 1.2.8–11 update: 💌 to 🇻🇪

We’ve spent the last couple of months hard at work to bring the best social update we can. While we’re very very close to releasing this, there are a few important updates and bug fixes that needed to come first.

Here’s the official release notes:

1. Settings improved for stability
2. UI improvement for sending chat messages
3. Fixed a bug that causes a crash in some devices
4. Upgraded the OpenBazaar p2p server powering Haven to 0.13.6
5. Fixed a bug displaying prices for our Venezuelan brothers and sisters
6. Banner display is a bit more random; expect this to improve

The most significant update fixes a problem we weren’t aware of until recently where prices were being incorrectly displayed if the user selected the Venezuelan Bolívar.

Venezuela is a country where Haven downloads are popular. The Bolívar may be experiencing high inflation, but we remain committed to supporting our users internationally… especially those who could use a free market alternative for commerce.

For me personally this update has served as a wake-up call to prioritise multiple language support and optimise our supporting infrastructure for an international audience; expect to see updates in the near future to that end.
