New in Get on Board: Real-time notifications for companies
In many respects, Get on Board is a communication tool: from the moment a company publishes a job — and a professional applies to it — to the whole hiring process, including interviews, internal team conversations and feedback, a great part of what we aim to facilitate is communication in a recruitment context.
Today we are making a little step forward towards fully embracing this vision: a real-time notification center, complete with live updates of what’s happening in your account:
You will receive notifications of events such as:
- New applications
- Messages from candidates
- Internal notes left by your teammates
- Movements of candidates through the pipeline
- New members added to the team
- Processes that are closed or re-opened
Your notifications are synced cross-device: for instance, if you read your notifications in your mobile, they will be marked as read instantly in your desktop (try it!).
We included a settings page so you can fine-tune what notifications you receive. In the case of job-related activity, you will only get notifications for the jobs you already follow:
Notifications are currently available for companies only. Notifications for professionals and more notification items will be added soon!
