We are happy to introduce the three awesome students that will contribute to Popper (a CROSS incubator project), as part of GSoC’19 this summer. Thank you Google!

Hi, I’m Bárbara, you can call me Barbie. I’m a 23 year old currently attending my last year as a computer science undergrad at Universidad de Sonora in México. I’m very passionate about natural language processing and machine learning, specially the design and development of systems that employ nlp. I really like open source and the open source community and I’m excited to have an opportunity to contribute. In my free time i like hanging out at local cafes, reading, and taking care of my pack of 7 wild dogs and my annoying cat.

Project: Barbie’s project deals with the creation of a Javascript-based Dashboard for visualizing Popper workflows (project link).
