GetScatter is one of the most prominent and influential projects in the crypto space. We focus primarily on EOSIO chains, but support Ethereum and Tron, too. There are over 250 applications integrated with our libraries and 500k+ accounts using wallets supporting our protocols and SDKs, including 100k users on our desktop wallets alone.

We are looking for excellent developers to join our team and help bring our coveted desktop application to the mobile world.

Basic Details

  • The position is a remote position
  • We are hiring on an hourly basis to start to make sure that candidates fit into our team.
  • Please send emails to the email listed below only. Other forms of communication will get lost in the sea of messages we get and that would be a shame.

Technical Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in software development
  • At least 2 years experience using JavaScript frameworks like Vuejs, React, or Angular.
  • Experience with Java for Android
  • Experience using NativeScript, React Native, or similar native mobile JavaScript frameworks (not wrappers)
  • Experience developing blockchain applications (dapps)
  • Proficiency in Git and Unix operating systems
  • Must know HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6

Impresses us

  • Experience with Kotlin, Swift, or Objective-C.
  • Experience implementing cryptographic functions and encoders.
  • Experience with our SDKs (scatter-js and/or scatter-sharp)
  • Contributions to open-source projects

We are looking for proven experience, so come ready with projects you can show off and code we can review.

What you will be doing

We already have a prototype/POC of Scatter for Android which has core pieces of the puzzle such as socket drivers, encryption, and signing.

Your primary focus will be taking the new designs and converting them into a working product that can be given to our testing groups.

We are looking at using VueJS and NativeScript for mobile so that we can share the core Scatter code between projects to speed up the development process of all our apps; so you will also be working with the desktop team on extrapolating that code into shared libraries.

Because of our unique requirements and the possible lack of implementations of those requirements in NativeScript we also have native code packages, so it is important you have at least a basic understanding of Java.

Scatter is a blockchain application signature provider as well as an identity and single-sign-on system. It currently supports Ethereum, Tron and EOS with more blockchain support already underway.
