GetSetup’s 50+ Leadership Challenge
GetSetup loves our community built of members from 50 to 89 who all have inspiring stories and accomplishments from their past. While our Guides and community regularly offer inspiring classes and social opportunities we also want to source ideas and find inspiring leaders in the community.
We need your help to find these superheroes!
Nominate an amazing leader 50+ that you know so we can highlight their accomplishments, wisdom, and leadership with our GetSetup community!
Winners Receive
Five winners will be selected for the grand prize. The grand prize winners will:
- Be interviewed and have an article written about their accomplishments, plus get their picture(s) (recent or from the past) featured on our social media
- Receive a $100 Gift Card
- Gain access to 3 free small group classes on GetSetup of their interest
- Host a Virtual Social Hour on our platform to over 30,000 members
All nominees will receive:
- Access to a free group class for a month on GetSetup
What you need to do!
Nominate an outstanding leader who is 50+ for our challenge.
Nominate someone in your community, or someone you know personally — or even yourself (yes that’s ok if you’re awesome and you know it — show it!)
- Fill in our application here with basic details so we can contact the nominee.
- Include a 200–400 — word statement describing why your nominee is a strong leader, and what they have done to earn that title.
Consider:
- What does this person do that inspires you or others?
- How has this person improved the lives of others around them?
- How does this person handle difficult situations?
- What are this person’s priorities in life?
Nominees will be judged on their leadership in the following areas
- Vision and Purpose
- Creativity and Innovation
- Ability to Inspire Others
- Commitment and Passion
- Resilience and Humility
Nomination applications will be accepted until September 8, 2020, and the winners will be announced later in September.
*In the event that a nominee does not want to be featured then their nomination will pass to the next participant willing to be highlighted for their accomplishments.
