Churro French toast and kids that cook and curse
Welcome to installment #25 of GetSomeJoy’s The Daily Breakfast Situation, your morning check-in with recipes, joy-flavored stories, and wellness tools.
We’re two days into French Toast Week and we’ve got a long way to go. Have you seen a French toast sammich yet? A French toast castle? Stick with us. We’re doing The Work™ up in here.
This is what you missed yesterday.
You deserve dessert in the morning, too. This decadent churro French toast by Cooking Con Claudia is just what you need just in case you’re running low on the sugar in your tank. Claudia starts with good bread, and dips the toasted creation into a cinnamon sugar dusting before blessing it with a drizzle of icing and dulce de leche sauce. You wouldn’t need syrup, but who are me to judge?
Can I have a double order, por favor? Fun fact: adding berries subtracts calories from the dish.
And makes it vegetarian. Enjoy.
