When I first returned to chess, I searched for effective ways to study and increase my skill. I found an abundance of apps that give you a teaser, while keeping their best resources behind a paywall. National Master Robert Ramirez holds chess camps, gives private virtual lessons to students of all ages, and maintains a YouTube channel.

On his website, Robert offers a well-structured set of videos that provide far more than most free sources will give you. His skill in teaching is evident in the order in which he presents these lessons and in the testing opportunities he gives during the videos. He’s an excellent chess coach. His free lessons are grouped in seven levels, each of which contain 10 videos.

Robert Ramirez was introduced to the fascinating world of Chess when he was 5 years old and has participated in prestigious tournaments such as the World Open Chess Tournament and the Pan American Intercollegiate Team Championships. Thanks to his performance, he has earned his National Master title from the United States Chess Federation. — About page
