The end of one calendar year always leads us to take stock of where we are in our lives.

Did we achieve what we wanted in 2023?

Did our career pan out how we intended it to?

Did we get the opportunity or promotion we wanted?

If the answer to any of these is no, then the natural place to go next is to think “What can I do to make 2024 more successful?”

However, jobs and careers are complicated.

They pay our bills and we don’t want to put that at risk.

We might be wary of change and so the prospect of a new job might worry us.

New jobs might mean new travel arrangements and new working hours which might disrupt our non-work lives.

And what if we don’t know what we might want to do to put things back on track.

That’s where advice from some experts might come in handy.

If you’re still reading then great. I’ll warn you now that I’m going to highlight some of the new books that we’ve added to the Getting Started in Product bookstore recently that look at some of the most successful business leaders around.
