Why You Shouldn’t Bother With Product Documentation

Or really why people tell you they can’t be bothered to write it

We’ve all been there.

Someone asks “how does feature X work?”, and as the product manager you should know, and you do, up to a point, but you don’t know everything.

What then happens is that you have to say “I’ll find out for you and let you know” and you proceed to approach the engineering team to find out who built the feature so you can ask them.
