Heading, if you want one

Sub-heading, if you want one

Finally! Meet the 1st paragraph!

You can add more headings…

…and sub-headings…

…and paragraphs, but you can’t add more titles.

And check out the 3-dot separator below before the next heading.

Stuff you can do with images

Here’s a full-width image of Beale Street in beautiful Memphis, TN. If you wanted, you could put this image, or any image at the very top of the page above the title if you wanted to.

Captions are optional, but here’s one.

Here’s an image of what a post would look like if you put the image above the title, full-width, but cropped to be shorter since the full image would have pushed stuff so far down the page:

And here’s an image wider than the body, but not full-width:

Here’s an image the width of the body:

And here’s an image that’s left aligned and blended with the paragraph. I’ll have to type a little more to really show the behavior, so here’s more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy, and more copy.

In the above example, left-alignment is the only option. You couldn’t have the image on the right with the paragraph wrapping around the left.

You can make a grid of images by uploading a few at one time:

Stuff you can do with words

We already covered headings and sub-headings, but also…

Here’s a block quote if you click the quote button once.

And here’s a pull quote, if you just click the quote button twice.

And here’s a few words in bold, and and then another few words italics, and then linking to cool content is pretty standard too.

To make a numbered list:

  1. type 1 period then
  2. then hit enter
  3. then type your next item
  4. and so on

To make a bulleted list:

  • just type dash then your item
  • or type asterisk then your item

Stuff you can embed

Here’s an embed from youtube of the bee gees:

caption the video if you want

You can also embed content from other websites:

Or you can embed something like a tweet:

you can have captions here too

Here’s how you can have a promo inside an article: (pending)

Here’s how you can embed an email form: (pending, maybe with content from https://rabbut.com/rabbut-tools/medium/medium-email-form/.)

I’m certain this is not an exhaustive list, but hopefully this’ll get people started.
