I’m going to explain how to take the necessary steps to get a Metamask digital wallet and join the Getcoin pre-sale.

First of all, Metamask is just one digital wallet and even though it is a part of the Ethereum network, there are also other networks that can provide access to Getcoin. Metamask is a decentralized exchange, NFT exchange, and a wallet that ensures easy access to applications. But what makes Metamask particularly special is its encryption technique. In order to protect the security of your Metamask wallet, you simply choose a recovery phrase when opening an account, and ensure that that phrase is kept somewhere safe.

How can I get a Metamask wallet?
In order to use Metamask, you’ll need a Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Brave browser. For this article, I’m going to explain using Chrome. Other browsers are more or less the same.

First you need to add the Metamask browser extension.
For Chrome the extension link is: Metamask Chrome
You can see from the screen below that we can add the extension by clicking “Add to Chrome.”

Then, in the upper right-hand side of the screen, we’ll add the Metamask extension. A screen will pop up and we’ll click “Get Started.”

If you’ve used a Metamask wallet before, you’ll need to choose “Import Wallet” to access it. If you’re creating a new wallet, click “Create a Wallet.”

You’ll need to create a password on this screen for your wallet. After creating your password, you’ll be able to access your wallet account.

Important: You need to save the 12 words that this screen gives you. You’ll be able to access your wallet from anywhere on the internet with this phrase. The words must be in this exact order or you won’t be able to access your wallet.

Next you’ll See the 12 words you just saw out of order. To be sure that you’ve got them right, you’ll need to choose them in the right order. Then click “Confirm.”

Your wallet is now ready to use. You’ll see your address in the “Account” section of the Metamask wallet. This is an address particular to your wallet that can be used on all networks.
