Meet Getwallet, the mobile wallet that will bring millions of people to the crypto industry!

Before I begin my story, I would like to talk a bit about who we are. We at Teknasyon develop products in many different fields, mainly B2C. In addition to our more than 30 technology investments, we provide marketing support to nearly 100 high-growth technology startups with our Rockads service, helping to bring them to the world. Following new trends, finding market opportunities, and designing new products have always been a passion of mine. Combining these topics with marketing motivates me the most.

I have taken the lead in developing many products and have worked closely with my amazing team over the years. It would be an inedequate to tell Getwallet’s story without mentioning Getcontact. Getcontact was founded in 2016. With its wildly successful viral growth, it reached over 300 million downloads across the world. As of now, it has over 120 million active users.

We have probably seen hundreds of wallets launched worldwide, including a few whose developers I know personally from the startup ecosystem. Crypto wallets, certified cash transfer wallets… none of them have made a splash.

You cannot make a wallet reach millions of users without great expense. But if you have millions of users, you can transform each into a mobile wallet user.

Yes! This is precisely what WeChat and Whatsapp were able to do. This inspiration, combined with Getcontact’s massive success and the opportunities created by the crypto ecosystem, is where the idea for Getwallet was born.

I want to give you a little more information about Getcontact.

Getcontact, at its foundation, is a caller-screening and junk-call-blocking app. It has over 120 million active users, and its user base doubles yearly. It is the industry leader in many countries, particularly Indonesia, Russia, Malaysia, Ukraine, and Turkey. Its leading Swedish competitor in India and various African countries are now valued at +$1.8b on the NASDAQ Stockholm stock market. In 2021 we decided to make a radical change to Getcontact. We are making a drastic technological move to become a mobile operator prioritizing telecommunication services beyond caller-screening. We are in the process of acquiring licenses to become a telecommunications services provider in the United States. After we secure US licenses, we will seek permits in the UK and Canada. To this end, we are working with the world’s best consultants and legal offices. Further details will be revealed soon but for now, a small hint would be a world without physical SIM cards.

We are working tirelessly toward an all-encompassing change, including our logo, which we aim to bring to fruition in the first quarter of 2023. Our recently launched esim.getcontact.com is the first fruit of our promised telecommunication services.

What does Getwallet promise?

We designed Getwallet prioritizing convenience. Without using complicated interfaces in the crypto ecosystem, we plan to bring fast transactions with low transaction fees to our users, making transferring crypto as easy as sending a text message. With Getwallet, users can use their phone numbers as their crypto wallet addresses and easily transfer cryptocurrency.

Choose a contact, write in the sum and send! It is that easy. Even if the number you are sending money to does not use Getwallet, they will get an SMS with basic steps to follow to utilize the amount sent in whatever way they wish.

Getwallet, at its foundation, is an independent wallet. Getwallet, for which the beta version will be launched in the first quarter of 2023, has reached an agreement with Getcontact. Getwallet’s first version, in the last quarter of 2022, will only be accessible through the Getcontact app. Getcontact’s Premium users in specified countries will be gifted GETCOIN tokens valued at the amount they pay for their premium services. The gifted tokens will be locked for a certain period.
