Idea Balloons
If you’re like me you get ideas all of the time.
Big ones, small ones.
Ideas come in all shapes and sizes.
The challenges is that with so many ideas, many of them will likely never see the light of day.
Still, having a plethora of ideas is not a bad thing.
I like to call these idea balloons.
Take yesterday for example, I had this great idea on how to help our sales team.
I shared it with someone and there it was.
An idea balloon was created, inflated and set free.
With all these ideas running around in my head it’s hard to contain them.
They seem to be happier existing as idea balloons.
You blow one up, share it with a friend, and then you both watch it fly up into the sky.
Sometimes though…
You’re able to take an idea balloon and do something more.
And that’s a good thing.
The feeling of experiencing a fully realized idea is amazing.
But until that happens though — ideas are just ideas.
And idea balloons will continue to fly in the skies above our heads.
And as my friend Chris likes to say — It is what it is.
So keep having those ideas.
Keep creating ideas.
Some of them will turn into something.
Don’t be afraid to dream.
The world would be a pretty sad place without idea balloons.
