My First Gary Vee Keynote
A few days back I had the opportunity of seeing Gary Vaynerchuk speak for the first time live.
I’ve followed him online for several years, read Crush It!, and am admittedly a fan.
I appreciate his message to get out there and just do it.
At times when I need a swift kick in the butt — I’ll tune in for a healthy dose of motivation.
I was fortunate to get tickets to see him at an event called National Achievers Congress (NAC) here in Fort Lauderdale.
NAC is basically a marketing event where you’re being pitched on different money making opportunities sandwiched in between some really solid motivational speakers.
This NAC featured Robert Herjavec, Gary Vaynerchuk and Tony Robbins.
I stayed for Robert Herjavec from Shark Tank and Gary Vaynerchuk since they were scheduled for the first half of the day.
The sales pitches were getting a little over the top and so I decided to bail on Tony Robbins.
I’ll catch Tony some other day.
I was really there to see Gary anyway.
In person Gary is just as charismatic and real and he appears in the video content he puts out.
His message was all about attention.
It covered topics that I’ve seen before with some added stuff that was more real time.
Gary knows how to work an audience.
How to get your attention.
And how to keep it.
It was the highlight of my week.
If you have a chance to go see Gary speak in person — take it.
It’s worth it.
Oh well, I guess it’s time to go out and Crush It! now.
