Today I thought I’d list out all the functions of an IT Department.

When outsourcing your IT it’s important to know what you should expect.

Now, while many IT providers say they provide all the functions of an IT department.

The truth is, most IT providers just aren’t able to provide all of the functions.

They will say they do — but they don’t.

It’s just not practical.

To offer all of the functions of an IT department you need scale.

That means the right amount of people, with the right experience, education, and exposure.

Without the resources, you can’t do it.

Can it be done?

Yes, it can.
