Announcing the winners of the GeyserTimes Photo Contest
First, a little bit of context. This spring we’ve had a successful photo contest where people could submit and vote on new profile pictures for some of the more commonplace geysers on our site. Unfortunately we haven’t yet found the time to integrate these into our website or apps — or even formally announce the winners, for that matter. Our original plan of posting one winner per day with some background information on each geyser proved to be too time-intensive for what our team can currently handle. Hence we’re now only doing a summary post.
We apologize for the lack of communication with regard to the photo contest. We realize we could have done a better job, and will certainly try to improve on that front in the future. However, currently most of our team is entangled in personal matters and the little time we all have is usually allocated to other internal projects. That being said, here’s the list of all our winners. Thanks to everyone for participating and especially to the photographers for sharing their wonderful photos.
