How to Send GIFs in Outlook

Sending GIFs on Outlook is quick and easy! Follow this guide to get started now.

We’ll cover how to enable Gfycat on the Outlook iOS and Android applications, outlook.com, and on the Windows and Mac Outlook applications.

Enabling Gfycat in Outlook iOS and Outlook Android

Make sure you have the Outlook application open on your phone or tablet before getting started.

Step 1: Go to Settings

In Settings, scroll down to Add-ins. Tap to see available Add-ins.

Step 2: Select Gfycat

Pretty simple. Tap Gfycat to enable the Add-in in your email account.

Step 3: Go to your Inbox and open an email to respond to

Step 4: Find a GIF. Send the GIF.

Enabling Gfycat in Outlook Web

If you have an @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or @live.com email address, or your work email address is hosted by Outlook, these are the steps you want to follow. Make sure you have the Outlook application open on your phone or tablet before getting started.

Step 1: Go to Settings Gear icon

Once you are logged in from outlook.com, in the Settings drop-down menu, click “Manage add-ins.”

Step 2: Search for Gfycat and Turn Gfycat

Type in “Gfycat” and then hit Enter/Return on your keyboard. Click the On/Off toggle to enable Gfycat.

Step 3: Compose a new email or reply to an existing email

Go to your Inbox and open an email to respond to

Step 4: Select a GIF from Gfycat and Hit Send

And voila! That’s it. You can now access Gfycat GIFs in Outlook on all your devices.
