I didn’t notice how much activity there was this month alone. The first week of the month is already but the rest of the month could be as busy as ever seen in any month. I decided to put all these together, even though most of them will be captured in the Gh Tech Roundup newsletter.

13–19 Nov — Global Entrepreneurship Week

Global Entrepreneurship Week is celebrated each year in more than 100 countries, and has been running for more than 10 years. This year’s activities include a townhall at University of Ghana Business School, several events with the week including one in Kumasi, then ending with Startup Weekend from Friday Nov 17 — Sunday Nov 19.

14–15 Nov — Blockchain Academy

There will be a 2-day Blockchain Training Workshop with Resource persons from global as well as the local community. The total event will include: a 2-day Bitcoin & Ethereum Technologies Workshop & Hackathon (pre-conference Workshop), training in technologies & applications, policy and regulations, financial inclusion as well as other crucial issues.

16 Nov — Social Thursday

As part of the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Week, the British Council, Ghana is hosting its second Social Thursday seminar for the year on Thursday, 16 November, 2017 from 6pm — 8pm on the theme “Teching” Social Enterprises in a Digital Age.
The goal of this seminar is to expose social enterprise leaders to transformational digital ideas and skills which will help them to develop a more entrepreneurial and agile approach to make their businesses more visible and fit for purpose in the digital age, generating more income and strengthening relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

16 Nov — Blockchain Conference

17–19 Startup Weekend

is a 54 hour programme from Friday night to Sunday afternoon that brings together designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and experts from all domains to do amazing things. This year, the event will be held at British Council from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 November 2017.

21–22 Nov — Tech In Ghana Conference

The Ministry of Communications Ghana and AB2020 are excited to announce the Tech in Ghana Conference, Accra.
