New Feature: Sweep Mode
GhostMarket is pleased to announce the release of the “Sweep mode” feature, this feature alongside with a much needed upgrade regarding the UI of the buying cart feature will enable your experience on GhostMarket to become a much easier, quicker and more natural process. The old cart system is still in place for selling/transferring/burning NFT and has not changed in terms of UI (yet).
What’s the sweep mode?
You may have heard a common term in NFT, “Sweep the floor” which is something a lot of NFT traders employ to quickly buy a groups of NFTs at usually the floor price in order to buy as many as possible or as much as possible based on a total price. Hence, sweeping the floor.
The process will buy from the cheapest NFT moving to the next cheapest, based on your current set of criteria (ex: sweep on this collection with filter A , B and C), much like filling a market order buy on a traditional exchange.
For Neo N3 and Phantasma, there is no limit to the number of NFTs you can purchase in a single transaction. For our other EVM chains, for now we have set a limit of 50 NFT per transaction.
How to use Sweep
You will find the new updated cart on the very right of the top menu (in the orange square in the image below). As to the sweep mode settings, it is only available on individual collection page, accessible by clicking the broom button.
Pressing it will add the “Sweep mode” widget to the cart panel.
You will notice on the Sweep mode menu there will be Items and in this case NEO. Items is a simple buy up to X items.
NEO is the value you want to spend in NEO, as this collection is on NEO. If you were on an Ethereum collection, the price would be expressed in this chain native token, ie ETH.
Note: if you are using a collection that exists on multiple chains, this will change to USD and represent a value of the NFTs in fiat price across the multiple chains.
In this example we have chosen to sweep 9 NFTs you can do this via the slider or by typing in the number. You can see GhostMarket has selected the 8 cheapest in ascending order. The NFTs are visible in a list on the updated cart on the side of the screen and below the list is the cost, what you will pay. Clicking the “Buy” will open up the option of how to pay and then you can follow the prompts in how to pay.
Choosing the NEO option, you will be able to move the slider or input the number of how many worth of NEO you would like to buy from the collection.
EVM custom settings
For all EVM chains, there is an extra setting: the “Allow Fail” toggle which basically means that in a high volume market, depending on the gas you spend for network priority, an NFT could be purchased by the time you try to purchase it yourself. Toggling this setting on will then ignore any individual failed purchase and not stop the purchase of the remaining NFTs.
