New Features Drop

Today GhostMarket has rolled out new features that have been implemented as part of our recent integration of the Ethereum blockchain on GhostMarket.io.

These upgrades will apply to Ethereum and will later be deployed on all EVM chains we support.

Royalties

Following this upgrade royalties will be supported in the following ways:

1) All NFTs minted on GhostMarket directly support royalties through our own royalties mechanism.

2) On Ethereum, we fully support EIP2981(per NFT royalty standard). If an NFT is from a contract that supports EIP2981, we will honour the royalties tied to it.

3) On Ethereum, we support royalties at a collection level. Each collection owner can set their collection royalties percentage (%) and recipient, for each sale happening on GhostMarket trading contract.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be upgrading our other EVM contracts (BSC/Polygon/Avalanche) and they will also benefit from compatibility with EIP2981 and collection level royalties.

Adding your royalties as a collection owner is as simple as adding the percentage (%) and the address of the recipient to receive the funds, and confirming the transaction (as this is done on-chain). This screen is only available to collection owners.

Collection Offer

You will now be able to make an offer on any NFT within a collection by making a ‘Collection Offer’. This allows any owner to offer their NFT to you for the price you have offered and eliminates the need to ‘make an offer’ individually on every NFT within a given collection.

By doing this though, you do not get to select which individual NFT you will end up with, so it’s best to only make this type of offer, if you do not mind which NFT you will end up owning.

Search for the Collection you wish to make an offer on and the click ‘make collection offer’ and enter the amount you are prepared to pay for any one of the NFTs in this entire collection.

A pop-up window will ask you to enter your offer amount and an expiration date.

Once you have an offer accepted, it cancels your offer on any other NFTs left in the collection. If you wanted to purchase another, you will need to make a new offer.

You can also make a collection offer from any NFT in the collection from that individual NFT itself as shown below.
