October 2023 NFT Art Contest Winner: Stargirl
Stargirl, a veteran artist on GhostMarket, was chosen as our winner of the October 2023 NFT Art Contest. Her creation “Fascienne” left us feeling amazed the moment we saw it and secured a place in the GhostMarket Legacy Collection.
This is the third artwork by Stargirl that’s been added to our platform’s collection, following “To The Moon” and “Candy Witch”. Her hand drawn illustrations are bursting with personality, featuring characters that often tell a story without needing to say a single word to the viewer.
Stargirl has collaborated with GhostMarket on a variety of NFTs that have been used for various giveaways, including an upcoming contest to celebrate the launch of our EVM indexing update once it’s completed. Be sure to follow Star Girl on X, Instagram, and GhostMarket to see more of her work.
GhostMarket has collected over 30 NFTs from our community of creators over the past few years. Our monthly art contests and collection events introduced us to unique artwork in a range of styles, including 3D motion graphics, photographs, digital illustrations, and more.
Our various winners have become an integral part of the GhostMarket platform far beyond their NFT submissions. Many artists have participated in our weekly Spaces on X, provided artwork for our contests, and worked closely with our team as moderators and ambassadors.
As GhostMarket continues to evolve, we’re excited to introduce new plans for supporting artists as we move into 2024. As our team prepares to launch everything related to these changes, we’ve decided to bring our monthly NFT art contests to an end.
It’s been wonderful to see so many NFTs submitted for consideration each month and we appreciate the continued support of our events. With our new systems in place next year, we’ll be able to collect more NFTs each month and provide additional promotional support for artists and creators.
