A New Weekly Segment: Trump’s Tivities

Donald J Trump’s presidency as been…a rollercoaster to say the least. It seems like there are new bouts of controversy every day that the man steps out of office headed to work, compared to when he goes on one of his frequent golfing trips. With only seven months scratched off the board for this presidency, and more than 41 to go, it looks like Americans will have to batten down the hatches and prepare for the storm. We’ve made it this far, there’s no turning back now.

In addition to his cartoonish antics, Trump’s facial expressions are hilarious. He just can’t keep a straight face no matter what he does. We’ve collected some of the best GIFs that capture the facial..ehrm, elegance of our celebrity in chief. If you’ve been under a rock, we’re going to let you know of some of the things that he’s been up to lately. We’re going to make this a new weekly thing because there is always content to be mined with this guy. Keep in mind that all of this is real and that there are no embellishments.

Keeping it real with the Boy Scouts

Trump spoke with the Boy Scouts for their Annual Boy Scout Jamboree on July 24. He talked about Health Care and a number of other topics that only Trump can make sound crazy. Here are some highlights from his speech.

“I said, ‘Who the hell wants to speak about politics when I’m in front of the Boy Scouts?’ Right?”

Spoiler alert: he did go on to speak about politics in front of Boy Scouts.

“As the Scout Law says: ‘A Scout is trustworthy, loyal’ — we could use some more loyalty, I will tell you that.”

Who’s he throwing shots at in his organization?

“By the way, what do you think the chances are that this incredible, massive crowd, record-setting is going to be shown on television tonight? One percent or zero?”

While being shown on CNN.

“Oh, you’re Boy Scouts, but you know life. You know life. So — look at you.”

What?

“I saw him at a cocktail party, and it was very sad because the hottest people in New York were at this party.”

Keep in mind, he’s addressing a large gathering of primarily children.

“I went to Maine four times because it’s one vote, and we won. But we won — one vote. I went there because I kept hearing we’re at 269.”

Why does this matter to a group of teenage children?

“And by the way, under the Trump administration, you’ll be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again when you go shopping. Believe me. ‘Merry Christmas.’”

Again, what?!

This wasn’t one of the President’s brighter moments of his brief reign. But then again, when is?

Trump’s gunning to get Mueller’s team out of here

Trump has begun to look for reasons to fire Mr. Mueller, the special counsel who has hired investigators to look at Trump’s organization and their ties to Russia during last year’s election. The President has had his lawyers and aides look in the political and professional background of the investigators to find a conflict in interest.

Some of the things that the legal team is doing is analyzing donations to Democratic Party candidates, clients of the past investigators, and the counsel’s relationship with James B. Comey, the fires F.B.I director.

Trump said in an interview with The New York Times that he will make the information available sometime soon. He knows that some members that are investigating him had some sort of conflict of interest.

Applying pressure where it hurts

Trump has made sure to turn up the pressure to eleven and make sure that the Senate repeals the Obamacare law and replaces it.

“For the last seven years, Republicans have been united in standing up for Obamacare’s victims. Remember repeal and replace, repeal and replace, they kept saying it over and over again. Every Republican running for office promised immediate relief from this disastrous law,” he said. “We, as a party, must fulfill that solemn promise to the voters of this country to repeal and replace.

Senate voted yesterday, Tue. July 25, about advancing the bill to reform health care. The Republicans only need a simple majority to pass the motion.
