GIFTO Weekly Updates — 6 March 2018
A Message from Andy Tian, CEO and co-founder of Uplive
Welcome everyone to our weekly update!
Our angel recruitment program is ongoing. If you would like to work with us to build a healthy community, please contact us for more information.
GIFTO Wallet
The GIFTO wallet is the foundation of GIFTO’s ecosystem and it is the first step to getting Uplive’s current user base of over 30 million people to start using GIFTO. The GIFTO wallet is a rare, real-life application of crypto tokens to purchase goods and services on a large commercial platform. Just last week, we conducted an in-house testing of the wallet with over 400 participants, which enabled us to receive valuable feedback.
The test version of the wallet has the following features:
- Users can convert Uplive U-Diamonds into GTO
- The wallet is based on private chain + hybrid chain infrastructure
- Users can transfer GTO ERC-20 tokens from their GIFTO web-based wallet to public chains or crypto exchanges
- Simple UI for complying with KYC regulations
Below are samples of the GIFTO Wallet UI:
Moving forward, we will be conducting many rounds of testing, gradually scaling up to a public launch at the end of March. As Uplive has a very large user base and the concept of digital wallets and crypto currencies is still new to many of our users, we are also preparing detailed educational materials for our Uplive broadcasters and users.
If you are interested in joining in on the testing phase, you may sign up at: https://goo.gl/forms/cyOIk8YbFBOteV533
For the next version, we will develop the following features:
- GTO gifts supported within the wallet where users can share GTO gifts with friends or broadcasters.
- Improved H5 GTO gifting ecosystem in Uplive
Blockchain Game
Last week, GIFTO’s sister company released a new blockchain game, Fortune Wishing Pool (FWP), and many players had joined in on the competition. Dozens of players have already received rewards, ranging in size from 5000 chips≈.15 ETH to 36000 chips≈1.2 ETH.
This is GIFTO’s first attempt to enter the field of blockchain games. Currently, there are already thousands of players in the game, and we welcome you to join in on the fun. At the same time, we are also working diligently to develop more blockchain game products for everyone to look forward to!

Ask Andy Anything(AAA)
Many GIFTOers have a lot of questions they would like to discuss with me. Therefore, the GIFTO team is excited to launch ‘Ask Andy Anything’ (AAA), where community managers and angels will gather questions and feedback from everyone. I will then address some of these concerns via videos, which will be uploaded to YouTube and other platforms. We welcome all questions and we look forward to everyone’s participation.
To participate, please share your questions with us here: https://goo.gl/forms/FJ4fw9Nb74EFDuyg2
We will meet again next week!

Uplive, Gifto, and our partners in the news
DATx today announced its strategic partnership with GIFTO. The launch of this partnership with DATx is set to benefit even more content creators with the development of a level playing field. GIFTO can leverage DATx’s capability to discover fake nodes within the GIFTO blockchain efficiently, remove and eliminate them from the root cause before any of the fake nodes can cause damage. In addition, users and developers in the GIFTO ecosystem will be able to cash in via DATx’s solutions for their contributions in ad-use scenarios.
2) This Is the World’s Most Expensive Piece of Crypto-Art
Art imitates life, as the saying goes. For Andy Tian, Co-founder and Group CEO of Asia Innovations Group, that means leveraging the shift towards blockchain technology to produce a piece of virtual artwork: “The Forever Rose.” The artwork, created by renowned artist Kevin Abosch, was sold for $1 million worth of Ethereum on Valentine’s Day, making it the most expensive piece of crypto-art so far.
Leading French art magazine Beaux Arts also gave an in-depth coverage of “The Forever Rose” and affirmed that the project has opened the doors to crypto art.

3) “Uplive Girls” heads to Japan for performances
Uplive Girls, a girl group comprising of Uplive broadcasters, gave a performance in Japan last week, which was well-received. Some media platforms reported that the Uplive Girls have successfully established their reputation in Japan and garnered a number of fans from all over the world.
The article has reported that a lot of fancy platforms dedicated to fans, such as Ali Planet, are slowly fading away. Super Fans, another product of Uplive’s parent company, Asia Innovations Group, are familiar with fan psychology and technical support which makes it China’s largest and most authoritative star-chasing platform.
