Father’s Day is just around the corner and you are probably wondering what to give your Dad. GiftVolo conducted a survey to find out from our loyal fans as to what Dad’s want. You will be surprised (or not) to see the results.

We asked two simple questions

  1. What would you like to gift Dad this Father’s Day? and,
  2. Dad’s what would you like to receive this year for Father’s Day?

As you can see, the way to Dad’s heart is through a lovely meal. I guess, as long as their basic need is met they are happy. Most Dad’s also expressed a simple desire to spend time with their children.

What dad’s like for Father’s Day?

What was amazing was that what Dad’s want for themselves is no different from what children plan to give their Dad’s. The results were similar for both the questions and we got the same four preferences.

Although I am speaking on behalf of my husband, my Dad and my father-in-law, I know their response to the questions above would also be to spend quality time with their kids in addition to a lovely meal.

Each of these questions above, had following options:

1) Golf/Tennis/another sports membership

2) Massage or personal grooming services (could be a subscription box)

3) Wine tasting

4) A local getaway to wineries

5) Lovely restaurant meal

6) Wardrobe stylist services

7) Fitness/gym membership or personal training session

8) Other (Please specify)

Thanks to everyone who responded to the survey.
