I recently chatted with JP Morgenthal, the Gigaom analyst and author of Robotic Process Automation in Digital Transformation: Rise of the Citizen Developer. JP’s been delivering IT services to business leaders for the past 30 years and is a recognized thought-leader in applying emerging technology for business growth and innovation. JP and I worked together at a small start-up years ago, and our interests seem to lead to us intersecting every once and a while, in this case, looking at automation in business from different perspectives.

Stowe Boyd: It’s really great to talk to you again. It’s been a while. I don’t even remember what year it was we last spoke but it’s been so far in the past that I can’t dredge it up. So we’ll just have to accept the fact that we’re lucky to have re-encountered each other, again.
